The project Deshealth: A systemic Design Approach to Education and Training on Sustainable Healthcare, launched in December 2023, has concluded.
The project has focused on building capacity across higher and professional education while strengthening collaboration between academia, industry and healthcare organisations. As part of the multiple results of the project "The DesHealth Handbook - A Systemic Design Approach to Education and Training on Sustainable Healthcare" is now available, bringing together knowledge, methods and practical approaches developed through the DesHealth project. It brings together the experiences, approaches and knowledge developed through the collaboration and provides a resource for organisations and professionals working with education, healthcare and sustainability.
The handbook aims to support educators and organisations in developing relevant learning activities, strengthening cross-sector collaboration and building the competencies needed to support the sustainable transition of European healthcare systems.
Through DesHealth, the partners have worked to create stronger connections between different parts of the healthcare ecosystem - particularly academia, industry and healthcare facilities – recognising that sustainability challenges cannot be addressed by one sector alone.
Nordic Center for Sustainable Healthcare is proud to have contributed to the DesHealth project and to the development of this resource.
