Founder / CEO
Daniel is the founder and CEO of NCSH. He has over 20 years of experience in sustainable healthcare conducting projects, audits, as well as trainings in numerous countries for Medtech, Cleantech, universities, regions, and hospitals. Projects and assignments that have taken Daniel across the world – to the US, Canada, Britain, India, locations all over the Nordics and most EU countries – has given him a vast understanding of healthcare's sustainability challenges in different contexts.
Originally from the Island of Gotland, Daniel worked in the industry and at a university hospital prior to joining TEM and founding NCSH. He has a master's in sustainability and communications from Uppsala and numerous add-on trainings.
Outside of work, Daniel is a dedicated micro-farmer in a small garden, where he tries to grow things that are not always suitable for the Swedish climate (yet).
Co-founder / Energy & Climate Manager
As NCSH's co-founder and energy & climate manager, Johannes has been involved in several projects over the years: Platform for Internationalisation: Energy and Climate Smart Healthcare, Sustainable Healthcare, sWASH & grow, Innovation Cluster-Energy, Premium Light and more.
His experience in the field of electrical engineering has provided Johannes with broad knowledge on how to create a more energy-efficient healthcare system. With an established network and belief in a hands-on approach, he has organised study visits at hospitals and other healthcare facilities to showcase the technology making a transition to sustainability possible. Johannes further hosts NCSH's delegations both to and from Sweden to facilitate knowledge sharing, and is a celebrated international speaker on the topic of energy and climate-smart healthcare.
In addition to electrical engineering, Johannes's background is in international sales, procurement and project management.
