GOV4CARE- Building sustainable, climate-resilient European healthcare systems through evidence-informed governance, is a five-year Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action (RIA), backed by over €8 million in EU funding.
Healthcare systems face a double challenge: managing the growing health and service-delivery impacts of climate change, while also cutting their own environmental footprint. GOV4CARE aims to place environmental sustainability and climate resilience at the core of how healthcare systems are assessed, governed and improved.
