GOV4CARE- Building sustainable, climate-resilient European healthcare systems through evidence-informed governance, is a five-year Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action (RIA), backed by over €8 million in EU funding.

Healthcare systems face a double challenge: managing the growing health and service-delivery impacts of climate change, while also cutting their own environmental footprint. GOV4CARE aims to place environmental sustainability and climate resilience at the core of how healthcare systems are assessed, governed and improved.

We're proud to be part of this consortium alongside Amsterdam UMC, RIVM, CMCC Foundation, PIK, Yale University, Northeastern University Dublin Innovation Institute, the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, Three o'clock, Istituto Superiore di Sanità, the Italian Red Cross, the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, Gesundheit Österreich, THL, Bucharest City Hall, the National Meteorological Administration of Romania, Sciensano, IANPHI, EFPC, the Belgian Ministry of Health, EUPHA, HOPE, Joint Commission International, Resilient Cities Network, Libertas International University, Azienda USL della Romagna, the European Implementation Collaborative, and the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.

Co funded by the EU POS
