This year’s Nordic Conference on Sustainable Healthcare was arranged as part of the EHMA Conference 2019 in Espoo, Finland, on June 17 to 19. NCSH was proud to announce the winners of The Nordic Sustainable Healthcare Award 2019 during the closing plenary on the last day of the conference. The three categories were: Sustainable Healthcare Organizer of the year 2019, Sustainable Healthcare Organisation of the year 2019, and Sustainable Healthcare Innovation of the year 2019.
The winner of the award: Sustainable Healthcare Organizer of the year 2019 was Helsinki University Hospital (HUS), with the motivation: "As one of the largest healthcare organizations in the Nordics, HUS is leading the Sustainable Healthcare work in Finland!”
The winner of the award: Sustainable Healthcare Organisation of the year 2019 was Schneider Electric, with the motivation: "Global, but with a strong Nordic base, Schneider Electric shows how large companies can take key role in the healthcare transformation towards sustainability!”
The winner of the award: Sustainable Healthcare Innovation of the year 2019 was Nordshield, with the motivation:
"A revolutionary antimicrobial innovation developed by nature, perfected by science”. – Sustainable healthcare in a true sense.
