Side event: Measuring sustainable healthcare: beyond carbon footprints

We’re excited to introduce our new Benchmarking Tool and Dashboard for Sustainable Kidney Care—a first-of-its-kind platform that measures not just environmental impact, but also health outcomes, social impact, and cost across kidney care centres and treatment modalities. It highlights hotspots, tracks progress over time, and enables anonymous benchmarking to drive real change.
Still under development, this tool as part of the European Horizon Project KitNewCare will combine robust technical development with practical functionality. We will also present the technical solution—designed to be further developed, scaled up, and potentially reused in other areas beyond kidney care. Join us as we discuss its role in the overall project, showcase its features and explore how it can shape the future of sustainable kidney care.
