Sailab - MedTech Finland is Finland’s leading trade association for the health technology sector, representing nearly 90% of the industry in the country. The organization promotes the safe, innovative and ethical use of health technology solutions in social and healthcare services.
Sailab advocates on behalf of its member companies, influences legislation and provides expert support in areas such as regulation, ethical guidelines and business practices. The association is known for its active role in shaping health policy and fostering collaboration between the healthcare sector and technology providers.
Sailab also publishes practical resources, such as the Health Technology Regulation Handbook, which outlines key EU and national regulatory frameworks.
In 2024, Sailab was recognized by the Federation of Finnish Enterprises as the Industry Association of the Year, honoring its impactful work in advancing health technology in Finland.
