News from the Vinnova project

Namnlös design 18

We're thrilled to announce a major milestone in our Vinnova project!

Earlier this week, NCSH and Mediplast came together to discuss our findings and plan the next steps. Together, we are conducting a feasibility study on sustainability improvements for the Mediplast Vomit Bag.

With this study, we are excited to explore and assess design and manufacturing measures for single-use plastic products with the vision to lower CO2 emissions and contribute to a more sustainable healthcare.  A special thanks to Brett Duane, Associate Professor in public health from Trinity College Dublin for his invaluable contributions during our meeting.

The project is funded by Vinnova, Sweden's Innovation Agency.
