In Turin: Designing Future Sustainable Healthcare Training with DesHealth

Last week, NCSH was in Turin (Italy) for the first dissemination event in the project DesHealth.

During the days in Italy, project results and thoughts were shared between (and beyond) project partners to discuss the green skills gap in the healthcare sector – and how this gap can be narrowed and filled with the project's upcoming co-disciplinary training.

"DesHealth: A Systemic Design Approach to Education and Training on Sustainable Healthcare" aims to:

- Allow organisations to increase the quality and relevance of their education activities.
- Develop and reinforce the organisations' networks of partners, increasing their capacity to operate jointly at the transnational level.
- Answer the educational gap on Sustainable Healthcare in higher and professional education building capacity of organisations to work transnationally and across sectors.
- Promote the sustainable transition of European health systems by training new and future practitioners addressing common needs and priorities.
- Build co-disciplinary and cross-sectoral relationships between different stakeholders in the health system, in particular between academia, industry and health facilities, enabling sustainability transformations and changes.
