Background
In this workshop we will look at how Healthcare can be utilized as a frontrunner for implementing sustainable infrastructure in developing areas around the world. To be able to operate in a satisfying manner healthcare is dependent on clean water, electricity, heating/cooling, wastewater handling and communication etc. Therefore, a hospital or a primary care unit can create the demand for infrastructure that can also be used for surrounding neighbourhood. By providing a system solution approach substantial advantages towards circularity and sustainability can be implemented. This way healthcare can be a catalyst for developing sustainable cities and villages.
A System solution approach will demand broader collaboration with different stakeholders. Through collaboration we can create consortium to deliver circular infrastructure systems with healthcare as a driver.
The goal of this meeting is to get stakeholders that are interested to develop opportunities in this field to discuss how we can find a way forward.
The calendar will be updated with more information shortly.
