Leap for Life is Halland’s arena for health innovation. As part of Halmstad University, we bring together stakeholders from industry, the public sector, academia and civil society to collaboratively develop solutions that improve healthcare – locally, nationally and internationally.
Since 2009, Leap for Life has had a clear ambition: to enable innovations that make a real difference for people and society. With a deep understanding of the needs of healthcare and social care services, access to test environments, and a strong network of end users, we provide innovators, entrepreneurs and companies with the guidance they need to take the next step. Innovation Support and Guidance
Leap for Life helps innovators and companies in the health tech sector to develop products and services that healthcare and care providers both want and need. We offer strategic advice, expert evaluations, and direct access to users and decision-makers.
Test Environments and User-centred Development
Through real-life testbeds and close collaboration with care organisations, we enable companies to validate their solutions in authentic settings. We support the entire process – from idea to market introduction.
Knowledge and Competence Platform
With strong academic expertise in health data, AI and information-driven care, Leap for Life bridges research and practice. We lead projects and innovation processes that promote sustainable and person-centred healthcare development.
