Two new hospital members, one international partner and one NGO
We are proud to annonce that the network of NCSH is continuing to grow rapidly. New members are Karolinska University Hospital, Kristianstad Central Hospital, C2DS and PVC-free bloodbags.
Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm is globally known for many things among them their Sustainability work. New Karolinska that is currently being built is going to be a global best-practice on sustainable healthcare. Karolinska has 15 000 employees and is a part of Stockholm County Hospital.
Central Hospital in Kristianstad (CSK) in northern Skåne is a pioneer when it comes to implementing and testing new cleantech solutions in healthcare. CSK has 2 300 employees and is a part of Region Skåne.
C2DS - Comité pour le Développement Durable en Santé is an organization based in France with offices in Germany. It was set up by a group of hospitals in order to establish a healthcare community committed to environmentally responsible healthcare. C2DS has endorsement of the French Ministry of Health. C2DS has around 500 hospitals in their network.
PVC-free bloodbags is a EU life + project aimed to develop PVC-free bloodbags. It is a joint project between the industry and healthcare. The project is led by Jegrelius Institute in Östersund Sweden.
